Who is this for

Malawi is one of the least developed countries in Africa. Agriculture accounts for about one-third of GDP, and 85% of the population lives in rural areas, most of whom eke a living as subsistence farmers.

Illiteracy and high prevalence of HIV/AIDS remain as obstacles to economic growth. Nearly half of all girls receive no primary school education.

Stay connected with us

In Africa, we fund training that enables individuals to learn a trade and earn a living. In the UK, volunteers refurbish donated tools, giving them new purpose, and we also support national projects and apprenticeships here at home.
